ECF - Echo Frames

Echo frames are used to test a connection between two stations. Any data sent by an echo request have to be repeated by the echo reply frame.

If an adapter is able to return an echo frame of 4454 bytes in length its MAC and SMT functions seem to work properly.

The ECP protocol must be implemented in all adapters.
