Token-Ring may use their burned-in MAC address containing the manufacturer ID:
Mostly, the burned-in address is replaced by logical addresses indicated by a value of 0x4000 within the first two bytes. IBM recommends certain guidelines:

Using logical addresses, the Token-Ring frame has the following structure:
I/G = Individual or Group Address
0 = Individual
1 = Group (multicast, broadcast)
U/L = Universally or Locally Administered Address
0 = Universally (assigned by IEEE)
1 = Locally (user defined)
FAI = Functional Address Indicator
0 = normal
1 = functional address
