Ending Delimiter (1 byte) (Token-Ring)

Length: 1 byte

Contents: end of frame indicator.

Both starting delimiter and ending delimiter are identified by means of differential manchester code violations ('JK' code symbols).

The Intermediate Frame bit (I) indicates (if set to I=1) that the current frame is not the last in a chain of frames; I=0 indicates a single frame or the last frame of a multiframe transmission.

The Error Detect bit (E) is set by each ring station that detects a CRC error, a non-integer byte count or a irregular Manchester code violation (no regular 'JK ' code / not in Starting/Ending Delimiter).
