Watchdog PCI
Watchdog Protocol (Novell)
Move the mouse pointer to any protocol field and press the left mouse button.
The watchdog checks to make sure that stations are connected. If the watchdog has not heard from a station in five minutes, it sends watchdog packets to the station.
If the station does not respond, the watchdog starts sending watchdog packets at 1-minute intervals for up to 10 minutes.
After 15 minutes, if the station still has not responded, the watchdog assumes that the station is not connected and clears the station's connection.
Server command for watchdog setup:
1. set number of watchdog packets=n
2. set delay between watchdog packets=n
3. set delay before first watchdog packet=n
4. set console display watchdog logouts=on/off

2. delay between watchdog packets
default: 59,3 sec.
poss.range: 9,9 sec. - 10 min. 26,2 sec.
3. delay before first watchdog packet
default: 4 min. 56,6 sec.
poss.range: 15,7 sec. - 20 min. 52,3 sec.
4. console display watchdog logouts
default: off
